Less than two weeks are left now in which prospective rowing essayists can complete their articles on last year's crew season for the $25 prize offered by Ernest E. Smith '02. They are due May 22.
The essays should not exceed 2000 words in length, and should be in the main a readable narrative covering the high spots of the season. Factual data containing complete summaries of all events must also accompany the article.
To aid the writers, data on the last season has been collected and placed in the hands of Robert H. Haynes, Superintendent of Circulation at Widener Library from whom it can be obtained. The CRIMSON will judge the manuscripts, which are to be typed, double spaced, on one side of the paper only.
