Undergoing a light workout in preparation for the regatta with Rutgers and Tech tomorrow, the Varsity crew yesterday afternoon rowed under the eyes of "Killer" Gerry Cassedy of the '33 boat.
The workout was light today in comparison with these earlier in the week, for on Tuesday the eight had the longest pull of the season, on Wednesday boat the Jayvees by three lengths, the Freshman by four, in a time trial, over the Henley distance.
The times in that trial were "satisfactory" to Bolles, and it showed a marked improvement in the Jayvees and Freshman boats which should have little difficulty in the their races Saturday afternoon on the Charles.
Starting and sprinting practice down to the Cottage Farm Bridge and back was the order yesterday and Bolles also said he was going to have Captain Bennett take a spin in the launch to watch the boat.
