ART SHAW SYNCOPATES FOR ADAMS DANCERS

Lobster Dinner Will Precede Dancing Next Friday--Gala Affair To Feature Beautiful Singer

Satisfied by a broiled lobster and steak dinner, Adams House revelers next Friday night will dance until two o'clock to the sophisticated swing music of Art Shaw and his Brunswick recording orchestra. Lovely and vivacious Dorothy Howe, at present under contract to M.G.M. in Hollywood will entertain guests with her singing, while Art Shaw himself will summon sweet and hot strains from his clarinet.

The decorations will feature something new in House dance decorations, for Chinese pagodas, and dragons will create a colorful spring setting.

Harold W. Danser, '37 heads the dance committee, which includes Walter J. Murphy '37, Wilson V. Ginger '38, Alfred Brenholts '38, Robert L. Brainard '39. Patronesses, headed by Mrs. James P. Baxter, include Mesdames Donald H. Wallace, Charles C. Abbot, and Charles H. Taylor.

Tickets will be $3.50 couple and $2.00 stag, while formal dress is optional.
