Thomas F. Drury of Research & Management Corp., president of the local group, announced yesterday that a scholarship amounting to $800 will be awarded by the Harvard Business School Alumni Club to a student entering the Business School in September. Final decision as to the recipient of the award will be made about June 1 and applicants should be made to Drury.
In addition to this scholarship, the local club will make recommendations of candidates for 40 Service Scholarships of $300 each which will be awarded by the school to entering students. Also available to the holders of both types of scholarships will be the Harvard Business School Loan Fund, to which first year men at the school will be eligible to apply for loans up to $300 in the second half year.
