At 8:15 o'clock tonight in he Upper Common room of the Union an opportunity for four Freshmen or Sophomores to spend one year at Lingnan University in Canton, China, will be explained by Kendric N. Marshall '21, instructor in Government, who formerly taught at the Oriental institution.
In the past three years four men have annually been chosen to spend their Sophomore or Junior years at Lingnan, under the Lingnan University Fellowship plan, which provides free tuition and living quarters. William A. Beardsleo '37, and William I. Popper '37, who were Lingnan Fellows last year, will describe their experiences at the meeting tonight.
Among the 31 American students at Lingnan this week are four Harvard representatives.
