Spanish loyalists were recently made richer by &124.50, which they received, from the Harvard Teachers Union and the Student Union. The sum was given over to the North American Committee of Spanish Democracy, an organization working here for the Spanish government.
In accordance with the requests of the donors, the fund will be given over to the Spaniards to buy medical supplies. Earlier this year another, larger sum was collected for the Loyalists when Fischer and Malraux spoke before the Teachers Union on conditions in Spain. The sum collected then was about &300.
