Williams, Marquand Speak at Lampy's 60th Birthday Party

The stork will hang high and the red light will burn with extra vigor over the Lampoon building tonight as Lampy celebrates 60 years of existence behind its exclusive castle wall.

This year's annual banquet is a landmark in the history of Harvard's comic magazine. Nathaniel G. Benchley '38, President, announced last night that among the speakers and former Lampooners present would be famous cartoonist Gluyas Williams '10. Likewise present will be John P. Marquand '14, author of the recent best seller "The Late George Apley."

Committee members could not ascertain definitely last night whether or not former Lampy funnyman Robert Benchley '12 would be able to attend.
