With 350 delegates from far and wide attending, the New England Model League of Nations swings into action this morning with the opening session of the Assembly at 10 o'clock in Sanders Theater. The principal Harvard delegation will represent Poland.

Following an address of welcome by President Comstock of Radcliffe and the adoption of a new constitution, the Assembly, will devote its chief attention to a debate on the credentials of the Spanish and Ethiopian delegations.

Fireworks are expected when the Italian delegation presents a resolution urging rejection of credentials presented in behalf of Haile Selassie while Portugal opposes recognition of the Spanish loyalist government.

At a luncheon for delegates at the Continental Hotel, Stephen V. N. Powelson '38, undersecretary-general of the League, will speak on his experiences in Spain during the revolution. Raymond A. Yerks, secretary-general of the first Model League session, will also talk.

Following the six committee meetings in the afternoon, a banquet will be held in the evening, at which Payson S. Wild, professor of Government, will speak on "Problems of the League of Nations."

Tomorrow morning the International Labor Conference will discuss child labor legislation over a world-wide hook-up.
