WILL BROADCAST YALE BASKETBALL, SWIMMING

When the Harvard-Yale basketball game goes on the air Saturday night, to be followed by an airing of the swimming meet with the Elis, it will be the first time that sports in the Indoor Athletic Building have been sent out over the radio.

The H.A.A. announced last night that the second half of the basketball game would go over a coast-to-coast Mutual Broadcasting network from 8 to 8:30 o'clock on Saturday. Neil Stahley will do the game, and Frank Ryan is to be the commentator. The band will also play at this game.

The swimming meet will be carried by the New England network only beginning with the 100 yard free style event at 9:30, and will be heard locally over WAAB, and over WBRY for the Elis. Gerald Harrison is to do the speaking, and he will give the summary of the entire meet and describe most of the events, ending with the all-important relay.

All the 1359 seats for the swimming meet have been sold. There will be 400 additional rush seats which will go on sale at 6:30 o'clock, and standing room for 200 more.
