In accordance with the suggestions made in the report submitted last month by the Committee On Transition. Brooks House announced yesterday that a new and greatly extended social program for Freshmen will be put into operation from its quarters next September.

To assist in the process of orientation, Brooks House will, as a first step, install a guide service of practical utility to the bewildered student. It will be conducted from Thursday through Sunday of the Freshman Registration Week. Arthur Hamlin '34, proctor and curator of the Poetry Room, who conducted several successful tours through the Library last fall, will show the new men the inner workings of the intellectual labyrinth.

To provide additional friendly contacts for the men, P.B.H. will hold a tea and a reception on Sunday. Movies and entertainment by a College group will finish the afternoon's affair.
