PRESIDENT CONANT WILL END SPEAKING TOUR IN IOWA CITY

President Conant concludes his speaking tour of the Middle West this afternoon in Iowa City when he will deliver the principal address at the celebration of the 90th Anniversary of the founding of the University of Iowa.

His topic is "The Selective Principle in Education in a Democracy." The President left last Friday and has already spoken before the Harvard Club of Detroit on Saturday, and the Harvard Club of Milwaukee last night.

After his address this afternoon he will leave immediately for Cambridge and be back in University Hall this weekend.
