Six additional names were added to the list of candidates for the first Senior Election, and one additional Junior was nominated by petition, the heads of the two nominating committees announced yesterday.
For the position of Class Marshal, the names of Rolf Kaltenborn and Walter Hines Page II, were added to the Senior Ballot. For Orator, Paul Killiam, Jr. was nominated by petition.
For Poet, Maurice Sapienza and Peter Robert Viereck will be added to the ballot, and for the position of Odist, William Charles Oursler was nominated.
To the list of nominees for the Junior Album Committee, the name of Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. was added by petition. C. Russell Allen, Edward T. Ladd, and Hans H. Zinsser, previously nominated by the nominating committee, voluntarily withdrew their names from the ballot.
Both the first Senior election and the Junior Album Committee election will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, February 23 and 24 at polling places in the Yard classrooms and in the House dining halls.
The Student Council Committee managing the elections is composed of C. Russell Allen '38, chairman, John L. Dampeer '38, Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. '38, and Vernon H. Struck '38.
