Two Australians, coming here to obtain Harvard's version of American college life, will debate next Wednesday.
Francis Keppel '38, president of the Student Council, and Stephen T. Stackpole '33, secretary to President Conant have offered their cooperation with the Debating Council in aiding the visitors.
A Crimson team composed of Lawrence F. Ebb '39 and Phil C. Neal '40 will face the visitors in an encounter, which will be broadcast over radio station WNAC at 3 o'clock. The topic will be on the adoption of Australia's system of labor arbitration for the United States.
Contest Broadcast
The two Australians, fresh from debates in Japan, Manchukuo, the Philipines, Canada, and the Universities of Stanford, California, Washington, Columbia, and Chicago, intend to stay here several days after the contest.
They have been commissioned by vice-Chanceller Priestly of Melbourne University to make a survey of student activities and organizations in all the colleges visited, with a view of developing student life in Australia.
