STUDENT GROUP GIVES XMAS MUSICAL PROGRAM

TWENTY-PIECE ORCHESTRA PLAYS IN TUESDAY CONCERT

A program of Christmas music performed by a large chorus and orchestra featuring soloists from all parts of the University and from Radcliffe will be presented Tuesday night at 8:30 in the dining room of Leverett House. It is open to the public.

Program

An orchestra of 20 pieces is to play the following program:

Handel's Concerto Grosso in F major

Handel's Oboe Concerto in B Flat major Soloist: Wilder Schmalz

Mozart's Divertimente Number 11 in D major

Zelter's Die Gunst des Augenblicks Assisted by chorus of Radcliffe students

Student members of the orchestra are: Eric T. Clarke '38, John T. Clarke '41, N. James Dain '39, Paul Franken '40, Richard S. Fogelman '40, Roger W. Loewi '39, James L. Morrisson '38, Rupert W. Pole '40, Raphael N. Silverman 2G, concertmaster, Elkan Turk, Jr. '39. The remaining ten members are from Radcliffe or outside. David H. Kimball '38, director of the entire group, conducts the orchestra.
