With prospects bright for a "better team than last year," Claude H. Sprouse '38, fencing manager, announced last night the beginning Saturday of competition among squad members.
The record that Sprouse aims to beat was spotty. The team lost most of its meets, though it made great strides as the season progressed. With seven lettermen back, Coach Peroy will have a solid foundation on which to build an improved team.

Although the season does not begin until early in February, the squad has already been selected. Those chosen and the division in which they will compete are:
Saber: Edwin S. Skinner '38, captain, Joseph T. Doyle '39, Nathaniel H. Batchelder, Jr. '39, Joseph W. Goldzieher '40.
