Kirsopp Lake, professor of History retiring this year, will give his last lecture at 12 o'clock this morning in the large lecture room of Fogg. The lecture brings to a close the first half year of the Bible course, which course Lake has taught here for 23 years.

The subject of this morning's lecture will be Ecclesiastes and Tobit, Lake announced. Asked if he would make the occasion a special one, the professor said, "I shall make a few general remarks at the end and say good-bye to people."

A world famous authority on old testament texts and Greek writings, Lake came to Harvard first in 1913. This spring he will go to Armenia on an archaeological expedition.
