Overcoming a third-period lead of nine points, the Jayvee hoopsters finally defeated the Boston University Freshmen 44-43 Saturday night at the looser's gym for their second win of the season.

In spite of the close score, the game was slow, with an obviously superior Jayvee five missing numerous chances to increase their total. Outstanding for the Crimson were Al Maguire on the defense and Bill Humes, high scorer with 14 points.
