823 Distinguished Harvard Men

According to the newly published Dictionar of American Biography, Harvard leads all other American institutions of education which have 20 or more alumni who have made original contributions to American civilization.

Leading 55 colleges and universities listed, Harvard may claim 823 distinguished "contributing" alumni, says the dictionary.
