18 GRADUATE MEN GET FUNDS TOTALING $8, 494

FIVE UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS ARE ANNOUNCED

Additional awards totaling $3,619 were granted seven graduate students today by the University. The recipients are:

Business School: Fred J. Kennedy prize, given to the second year student submitting the best written report in the class on retail distribution, to Eaton W. Ballard, of Seattle, Washington; A. Shuman scholarship, for the second year student who achieved the best record in his first full year at the school, went to William T. Rhame, of Wyoming, Ohio; and a special scholarship to Edward de Jongh, 1GB, of Brooklyn, New York.

Engineering School: Gordon McKay scholarship to Olof E. H. Rydbeck, of Goteberg, Sweden.

Law School: Wolter Kessler scholarship, the Harvard Club of Indiana, ta Alembert W. Brayton, 3d, 2L, of Indian apolis, Indiana.

Peabody Museum: Hemenway fellowship, for the study of American Archaeology and Ethnology, to James H. Gaul, 3G, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and Thaw fellowship to Frank C. Hibben, 1G, of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
