In an effort to clarify its official position in the Spanish situation, the Harvard Student Union will present a debate on that quesion tonight at 7:30 o'clock at Phillips Brooks House. The meeting will be open to all members of the University.

Both sides of the Spanish issue will be represented by undergraduates. Speaking on behalf of the Spanish Government is David E. Feller '38, while defending General France and the Rebels will be Mervin K. Hart, Jr. '40.

The meeting tonight will be the third of the year to be held on the same specific question. Two weeks ago, Ralph Bates spoke of the military conditions now existing in Spain; last week at a general meeting, the policy toward the rebellion was discussed, and tonight's debate will attempt to place representative speakers on equal ground and let them state their sides.
