Warning his audiences not to confuse anthropologists with philanthropists, Earnest A. Hooton, professor of Anthropology, went on to tell some 300 people gathered in the Herald-Traveler Auditorium for the opening of the Boston Book Fair, that the more he studied men, the more he liked his apes.
