Some time today two mules, Army mascots, will arrive in Cambridge having been transported by a West Point truck.
The new, additional mule is a small mule, in fact it is almost a burro. It was the gift to the Cadet Corps from Captain Colon Eloy Alfaro, Minister of Ecuador, who has two sons in the Corps.
But the West Pointers are not pinning their hopes on the little fellow to bear the brunt of the mascoting. For, as one Academy officer recently remarked, "In connection with the small mule, we still use the big G-I mule."
