Three scholarships in a total of $155 were voted at the meeting of the Student Council last night to Frank W. Hatfield '38, of Scranton, Pennsylvania, Chester G. Ormond '38, of Lancaster. Pennsylvania, and Dana H. Pierce '39, of South Orleans.

Funds for the scholarships come from the monies contributed toward the Council treasury at the beginning of the year. Use is designated as towards term bill payment.

Also last night the Council passed a resolution: that tutoring school advertisements should not be permitted to appear in publications for which it is either responsible or advances money.

This classification would include the Freshman Red Book.
