In Angle-American cooperation lies the key to the salvation of Liberalism, if it is not to be pushed to the wall by militant Communism and Fascism, Bruce C. Hopper '24, assistant professor of Government, said last night over Station WAAB in the ninth of a series of broadcasts sponsored by the Guardian.
The Liberal states, very much the "haves" as contrasted to the collectivist "have-nots", must form a "Democintern" to combat the systematic expansion of the Comintern and the Fascintern, Hopper said.
Classing Fascism with Communism in their failure to eradicate the class-consciousness evolved by the Industrial Revolution, he affirmed that "The true solution to the ridicule of class struggle is world division of labor and a free world market."
