CURLEY LOSES; CAMBRIDGE DOUBTFUL; LAGUARDIA WINS

With 385 precinct out of 388 reporting, Maurice J. Tobin seemed certain to receive the election of Mayor of Boston as this paper went to press at 2 o'clock this morning. Tobin polled 103,059 votes, former Governor James M. Curley 81,034, Malcolm E. Nichols '99, 54,330.

Almost certain to be contested, the final returns of the mayoralty election for Cambridge gave Mayor John D. Lynch the slight plurality of 171 votes over John W. Lyons. At request of both candidates four police officers were stationed, at the polls last night by Governor Hurley.

In New York, Incumbent Florello H. LaGuardia was returned to office as mayor. Democrat, Jeremiah T. Mahoney conceded the election at 10 o'clock last night.
