Yardlings were baflled Wednesday when they found tickets in their mail-boxes, reading:

"THIS CARD ENTITLES THE BEARER

to 2 admissions to

THE FRESHMAN DANCE

when presented at the door

A nominal fee of $1.50 will be charged to cover printing and distribution of these cards."

"Just a bit of humor injected by the Vice-Chairman as an additional way of luring people to buy," explained Langdon P. Marvin '41, Chairman of the Dance Committee, last night, referring to the last sentence. The Vice-Chairman is Langdon E. Burwell '41. The dance is slated for December 4.
