Henry Lamar's traning camp for boxers, in the Indoor Athletic Building, opens today for both the battle-scarred veterans and for the greener of the species. Regular boxing instruction will take place daily 3 to 4 o'clock and 4 to 5 o'clock; and if necessary, 2 to 3 o'clock and 5 to 6 o'clock.

"Boys are naturally interested in competition," Lamar said, "so I'd like to have a boxing tournament run on the inter-House league plan."

About the middle of January the tournament begins with all upperclassmen competing; about February 1 the Freshmen will have their bouts. Then the winners and runners-up of these matches and graduate student boxers will battle for the University championships at the close of the indoor season.

For the first two months the fundamentals of footwork and punching, later feinting and countering must be mastered before the actual ring work begins.
