NEW HAVEN, Nov. 17--Yale finished heavy work for the week here today with the entire squad going through a two and a half hour comprehensive drill. Most of the contact work saw the emphasis on offensive blocking with Blue facing Blues. Various combinations were used but no changes in either the first or second teams are contemplated.
After the offensive work the coaches concentrated on kicking under pressure with the second Blue line opposing the first. Dave Colwell continues to display excellent form. Blues then faced Blues in dummy defense, the seconds scrubs took over this work later and then went on the defense against the second Blues at the end of practice.
Enthusiasm continues at a high-pitch here. All tickets are at a premium. A big send-off is planned for team Friday morning.
