VARSITY ELEVEN IS SAFE THROUGH ITS FINAL BODY WORK

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Yale's football team went through a long hard workout this afternoon with the news that Al Wilson, star Junior half back, will be unable to play Saturday. Wilson, after starting the first six games, was kept out of the Princeton contest with a cold. This has failed to respond to treatment. In his place will be Al Hessberg, brilliant utility back.

Hessberg Only Change

Otherwise Coach Pond indicated there would be no changes in the line-up which has gone all through the season. In the drill today Blues faced Blues with the going on the defense against the reserves using Harvard plays. Later the first team practiced its offense against the scrubs, emphasizing the blocking on the new plays.

Passing and Punting

Punting by Colwell, Johnny Miller, Humphrey, and Ewart, place kicking by the first three, and passing by Frank and Humphrey were also stressed. Today intensive work will continue with the Grays staging the Harvard plays in dummy scrimmage. All seats for the game are sold out here and enthusiasm is high.
