With the exception of an caraly drive to the enemy four yard line, the Yardlings never threatened an undefeated Yale Freshman team Saturday afternoon at Soldiers Field, bowing 27-0 to the superior running attack of the Elis.

Following Bill Zilly's interception of a Crimson lateral in the first quarter for a 95 yard touchdown run, a succession of Blue tallies swept the Yardlings under with Jim Riley scoring twice and Don Rewick once.

Coach Stahley used many players in this last game of the season which produced no victories and six defeats. Outstanding for the Crimson were Captain Bill Tully at center, while Riley was the chief offensive threat for the Elis.
