Lowell to Give Address at Williams for Baxter Induction

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Speaking at the induction of Dr. Edmund Day as President of Cornell University today, President Conant will be taking part in one of three such coremonies on principal Eastern campuses.

At Williams, James Phinney Baxter, 3rd, formerly professor of History and master of Adams House here, will be inducted as President as he listens to President-emeritus Lowell deliver the most important address of the occasion.

The third of these three ceremonies to be held today will be at New Haven where Charles Seymour succeeds James Rowland Angell as President of Yale.
