Rumors reached the CRIMSON last night that there were some inhabitants of 53 Mt. Auburn Street, the 50-yard line for all automobile accidents on Plympton and Mr. Auburn Streets, who spent enough time in bed to be disturbed by these accidents, and had sent a petition to the University asking them to put a stop to these nightly crashes.
An expedition to this building to verify the rumor revealed that on the third and fourth floors there were mirrors arranged so that a good view of the disaster could be had from the couch across the room, and the space in front of the windows was cleared to accomodate the speedy influx of curious. One floor had the makings of a loud speaker rigged up so that even the most minute scrape could be detected.
An no one was home on the second floor, the rumor has not been promoted beyond that status.
