Senior Stack Privileges in Widener Can Be Increased

Haynes States That Those Doing Real Work Get Extensions

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Stack privileges to Seniors in Widener Library can be extended beyond the usual ten entries per year if there is need for it, Robert H. Haynes, Superintendent of Circulation, said yesterday. Seniors have complained of the regulation limiting the number to ten, saying that they cannot do adequate work for their theses with this number of entries.

Haynes said that students engaged in serious work can receive extensions of ten more. He keeps close watsh on their work in order to find out if they are using their privilege wall, and those doing special research can obtain extensions beyond the ordinary two or three.
