JAYVEES THRASH PROV. COLLEGE FRESHMEN 25-0

Roll Up Nineteen Points in First Half; Robinson Scores Two on 12-Yard Jaunt and Interception

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Emulating the work of their big brother Varsity players, the Junior Varsity yesterday flashed a wide open game in defeating the Providence College Freshman team on Soldiers Field, 25 to 0.

Scoring twice in the first period, once in the second, and once in the last, the Jayvees were never threatened. Ed Robinson, quarterback for the Jayvees, personally accounted for 12 of the points. In the first period he crossed the goal line after a 12-yard run and in the last few minutes he snagged an opponent pass to score again.
