Harvard Sanctions Ryan Broadcasting

First Harvard sports authority to speak over the radio with the sanction of the H.A.A., Frank Ryan, H.A.A. publicity director, was heard on the Kellogg program last night and summarized the Crimson chances for today's game.

During the course of the program Ryan was asked what the Harlowmen ate in the way of breakfast food on the train. Hesitating for only a moment he said to Bill Cunningham, his interviewer, "Well, you know and I know, but I can't say. But I can say that you, Bill, had corn flakes."

"Up and O.K."

"The squad is up mentally and O.K. physically," the H.A.A. man declared. "It is the best October team that Harvard has fielded in three years." In order not to arouse Harvard fandom too much, Ryan then added, "But I am afraid Navy may have too many guns for them."

All the commentators on the program agreed that today's game at Baltimore was a "feature battle" and "a crucial encounter for both teams."

George Carens spoke for a moment and said he had picked Army 20-13 over Yale, in spite of the fact that the West Point captain, Isbell, strained his elbow getting on a bus last night and will be out of the game.
