Davis Polls 2400 Votes But Misses Medford Nomination

Senior Finishes Third in Contest at Primary Wednesday

A strong third in a six man race, Richard T. Davis '38 missed by one of being elected a nominee for Medford alderman-at-large in the primary voting Wednesday.

Reached last night, Davis enthusiastically gave the flual results he learned yesterday morning too late for inclusion in the CRIMSON.

David J. McCarthy and Howard F. Alden were returned with totals respectively of 3472 and 3199. Davis polled 3400. Three others followed him in, with 1076, 989, and 385 votes.
