Bliven, Chase, Will Speak To Student Union Tonight

Plan Discussion of Presidential and Legislative Future

Introduced by their sons, Bruce Bliven, editor of the New Republic, and Stuart Chase '10, writer, will speak tonight at 8:30 o'clock in Emerson D, under the auspices of the Harvard Student Union.

In informal debate they will discuss what they see and hope to see for 1937. as well as the implications of President Roosevelt's address, and will consider legislation pending in Congress. Mr. Bliven has been in newspaper work since his graduation from Stanford in 1911 and in addition to his work on the New Republic is American correspondent for the Manchester Guardian. Mr. Chase has been connected with the Federal Trade Commission and is the author of many books on Economics.

Their sons, R. H. Chase '38, and B. O. Bliven, Jr., '38 will preside.
