The following have been elected to the Dramatic Club for their work in the fall play, "Jonah and the Whale," it was announced last nigh:

Muller '40, L. J. Profit Sp., R. J. Ryan '40, R. H. Shepard '40, N. C. Updegraff '40, J. R. van Horne, Jr, '40, A. A. Vitagliano '39, W. Whitman '38, and R. D. Woodward '37.

These new members were selected from a group of more than 75 candidates who worked as actors and technicians on "Jonah", which was performed before the vacation. They were initiated and presented Club medals at a private banquet held last night at the Viking in Boston.

Featured by sound truck campaigning and a much-appreciated "belly" scene in which the whale addressed Jonah, who was residing inside the mammal's own stomach, the American premiere of Bridie's "Jonah and the Whale" was estimated by evities in both Boston and trade papers as the Dramatic Club's outstanding performance in recent years.
