CREWS LEAVE FOR RED TOP SATURDAY FOR FINAL GRIND

Locke Replaces Kernan at Stroke on Junior Varsity; Freshman Crew and Combination Leave Sunday

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

With its last row in Cambridge for the 1936 season over yesterday, the Varsity eight will rest today and take up the sweeps again at Red Top tomorrow night for a time trial. The Freshman and Combination crews will not leave Cambridge until Sunday.

Time trials lately have shown that the old grads may have something to cheer about at New London within a couple of weeks. The crew seems to be swinging into form that has been promised all year but on which they have so far failed to capitalize.

With more than two weeks at Red Top to pep them into shape, it is entirely possible that they may present a showing on the nineteenth of the month that will give the Blue a surprise.

There will probably be no changes in the present lineup before the crucial day. A little shifting around in the Junior Varsity has been going on, however, with Henry W. Locke '38 back again at stroke replacing Reginald D. Kernan '37.
