An unusually early date for an opening game, the first Saturday of College, and an unusually tough opponent, Amherst, have forced soccer coach Jack Carr to call his men back a week in advance next fall.

Captain James A. E. Wood '37, left outside, heads a list of 15 who will report for initial practice Monday, September 21.

Others on whom Coach Carr is relying, and who will appear early, include Thomas Metley '38, inside, Richard G. Powell '38, fullback, Bernard Jacobson '39, halfback, and Daniel E. Burbank '37, halfback.
