Mitchellmen Will Try to Keep Clean League Slate Behind Pitching of George Tittmann
Riding out in the lead of the Eastern Intercollegiate League race with five victories in as many starts, the Varsity baseball team will meet Cornell in another League game Saturday at 4 o'clock on Soldiers Field.
Earlier in the season the Mitchellmen defeated the Ithacans 7-6, being forced at that time, however, to score two runs in the ninth in order to eke out the win. George Tittmann, who pitched the first game, will be sent back to oppose them on Saturday.
