Trials in Annual Singles Regatta Run Off Yesterday

Duncan and Heiskell Win Trial Heats in Narrows Competition

Trials in the narrows, second event in the annual spring singles regatta, were run off yesterday. In the first heat Roger F. Duncan '38 was returned a winner with George J. Lasinsky second. The time was four minutes and 15 seconds.

In the second heat Andrew Heiskell 2GB, bettered the time of the initial heat when he rowed a 4:11 heat to win. Second was George H. Pickar grL.

Other men in the narrows heats were William M. Preston 5G, Dudley N. Hartt '37, and Murray S. Harris '36, in the first heat, Howard A. Brinkman '38, Francis L. Friedman '39, and Irving W. Rabb.

The senior singles competition for the Carroll Cup will be held tomorrow afternoon.
