Following its second open air concert on the steps of Widener Library last night, members of the Glee Club held their annual election of officers in Sever Hall, as follows:
President, John Howard Eric, of Stamford, Connecticut to succeed Egbert W. Fischer '36; vice-president, Irving Gifford Fine '37, of Brookline, to succeed Frederick B. Tolles, 36; secretary, Edward Larrabee Barnes '38, of Chicago, to succeed Eric.
At the same time the appointment was announced of Gardner Middlebrook '38, of Northfield, Vermont, to follow Louis H. Conger, Jr. '37 as next year's manager of the Glee Club.
Chief of the 1936-37 concerts, it was made known, will be those of October 23 and 24 when Lizst's "Faust Symphony" will be rendered with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and a singing of the "Saint Matthew Passion" with the Boston outfit in March.
As usual there will be a spring trip, to include notably New York City.
