For the first time an American sociological work in a specialized field will be published in Japanese when "Principles of Rural-Urban Sociology," by Pitriam A. Sorokin, professor of Sociology, and Carle C. Zimmerman, associate professor of Sociology, appears on the archipelago this fall.
Translator is Professor Rikukei Imori, of the Tottori Agricultural College, at Tottori in Japan. The book first issued in 1929, has already been published in Czechoslovakian and German.
