A last minute sprint eked out a half-length victory and the House championship for the Lowell boat yesterday afternoon. The Bellboy blademen will pack up their shell and trek to Derby on Friday to match oars with Saybrook, the Eli Intramural champs.

Eliot executed a good racing start to take an early lead, but was soon passed by first the Kirkland eight, and then Lowell. At the mile, the Deacons were leading, but were unable to fight off the last minute challenge of the Bellboy contingent.
