Strong '39 Team Faces Northeastern Today on Soldiers Field After Four Straight Wins in South

After a successful southern trip in which all four games were won, the Freshman baseball team will play its first home game when it faces the Northeastern Freshmen today at 4 o'clock on Soldiers Field.

Two changes, one necessitated by the illness of Dick Grondahl, regular short-stop, and the other by the weak hitting of the outfield crew, will be made in the lineup. Henry Thompson will take over the shortstop position, while Jack Cunningham will replace Joe Soltz in right field.
