In response to a formal invitation from the President and Fellows of Harvard College, the Senate and House of the Massachusetts General Court have adopted the following joint resolution:

"ORDERED, That a joint special committee, to consist of the President of the Senate, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, three members of the Senate to be designated by the Speaker be authorized to represent the General Court in the tercentenary anniversary exercises of the establishment of Harvard College, to be held in the month of September in the current year."
