SIX MEN APPOINTED TO POSITIONS IN SOCIOLOGY

Four new men have been named to the Sociology Department for one year beginning on September 1, 1936, according to an announcement from University Hall yesterday.

Assistants, Tutors Named

The list of Assistants and Tutors who have been appointed is as follows: Edward C. Devereux, Jr. '34, of New York City, now at the Connecticut Agricultural College, Storrs, Connecticut; Edward Y. Hartshorne, Jr. '33, of Haverford, Pennsylvania.

Walter C. McKain, Jr. '34, of Youngstown, Ohio now at the Connecticut Agricultural College, Storrs, Connecticut; and Theodore W. Sprague 2G, of Cambridge, who received his Bachelor of Arts degree at Cambridge University in 1933.

Two Men Reappointed

Two Sociologists have also received new appointments to carry on their teaching and research for another year. These men are Clarence Q. Berger '33, 2G, of Dorchester, and John W. Boldyreff, who received his Master's Degree here in 1933. They will serve as Assistants and Tutors in the Department for one year from September 1, 1936.
