Five students and one Instructor at Harvard University have been granted $3,551 in Charles Dexter scholarships for research in English literature during the coming summer at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge.

The recipients are Fraser Neiman, 3G., of Cambridge, Mass.; William K. Chandler, Instructor in English and Tutor; Carleton Green, 5G., of Troy, N. Y.; George M. Kahrl, of Mt. Vernon, O., Ph.D. Harvard '36; Edward C. Peple, 4G., of Richmond, Va., and Ralph M. Wardle, 3G., of Woonsocket, R. I.
