After a week of patient waiting for a break from the weather, it appears likely that the Harvard Freshman nine will be able to open its home season tomorrow when it faces the Tufts Freshmen at 4 o'clock on Soldiers Field.
With Dick Grondahl back at shortstop after a week's layoff the team will be at full strength for the opener. Slim Curtiss, who beat Gilman and Mercersberg on the southern trip will be the Yearlings' starting pitcher.
Batting Order
Coach Adolph Samborski will use the following batting order: Heckel 3b, Johns 2b, Gannett cf, Lupien 1b, Grondahl ss, Prouty if, Cunningham rf, Bacon c, and Curtiss p.
As Tufts has had little outdoor practice no batting order has yet been decided upon.
